Month One

Landon William Smith, your first month was quite the adventure--filled with love, cuddles, sleepless nights, and trying to figure you out!  You have brought such joy to our lives.  We are not sure how we ever lived without you! 

At one month you:

• Weigh 10 lbs 5 oz (up 2 lbs 4 oz from birth) 57th percentile
• Are 22.5 inches long (up 1.5 inches from birth) 83rd percentile
• Have a big ole noggin! 15.5 inches (up from 14 inches from birth) 94th percentile
• Are long and lean :)
• Have dark brown hair and dark brown eyes but you've lost most of the hair on the top of your head!
• Are eating every 2-3 hours (only nursing at this point, no bottles yet)
• Sleep pretty much after every feeding
• Sleep in your bouncer at night (we've also tried the Pack n Play bassinet) but you don't love it
• Still wear mostly newborn outfits but your feet are starting to outgrow some of the onesies
• Wear newborn diapers but they leak much more than the size 1 diapers we keep you in most of the time
• Love to snuggle under mommy's chin to fall asleep
• Love to ride in the car and love your stroller even more
• Love to take a bath with mommy but don't really like to take a bath in your own bathtub 
• HATE to be swaddled because you love to have your arms up when you sleep (just like daddy)
• Scare yourself with your hands and arms flailing all the time!
